# Aliens 1 hint *by Javantea* *Aug 10, 2019* How would you talk to aliens? How would aliens talk to you? The first hint is that aliens and we humans share a common language: mathematics. The second hint is there is a excellent rabbit hole that you will fall down because you are thinking like a human. Aliens will understand binary, but they won't necessarily communicate in binary, what if they have sixteen fingers? The third hint is that the challenge does indeed use ascii, but by the time you are decoding ascii, it doesn't matter. The fourth hint is that this challenge was inspired by the opening sequence of the movie Contact. If you haven't seen it recently, the main character receives a strong signal which counts up in prime numbers, which proves its intelligent origin. The fifth hint is that the challenge has a delimeter and that delimiter is straightforward. The author of this challenge is not an alien, but often considers that he cannot effectively communicate, as if he was speaking in another language. When you can't understand someone, maybe they are speaking an alien language. Or maybe not.
