# DEF CON 18 <!--<<TableOfContents()>>--> ## Postmortems [Javantea's Postmortem](/Javantea's Postmortem) Lots of Neg9 folk will be at DEFCON 18. We'll be doing some contests, and just hanging out. Add yourself to the list if you plan to be there! ## Neg9 Events ### Party? Maybe we should have a small/invite only party in our rooms at some point to hang out. ### Neg9 Meetup We should all try and meet up at some point to talk about Neg9 stuff. Maybe Thursday before the Toxic BBQ? ### oCTF #### Remote crew Remote oCTF crew will use openvpn to connect to damnation. From there they will (hopefully) be able to access our ctf communication hub and staging area, hence forth referred to as the sheepfarm. The network will be unreliable and bandwith may be limited, so there will be a couple of things remote people will need to keep in mind. Don't try to explore or attack things from your own box. Your console is the sheepfarm. If you need something installed, it should be safe to install it. The sheepfarm is disposable... but do remember that you're sharing it. The vpn is configured for cert based authentication. There are two ways to set this up: 1. Generate keys and have us sign them ([this *might* help](http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/documentation/miscellaneous/77-rsa-key-management.html)). 2. Get signed keys from us (hex or dyn should be able to help you out). If you get keys from us you're going to have to have a gpg key so we can encrypt them before we send them to you (If you don't know how to do this check out the quick and dirty [GPGHowTo](/GPGHowTo)). More info will be posted before the event. ## Who's going? * [craSH](/craSH) * [dyn](/dyn) * serif * [kaizoku](/kaizoku) * hex * meta * [Javantea](/Javantea) ---- CategoryEvents
